I feel more confident now than ever that I'm right. It's a burden for sure being right, but a comfort to know that humility isn't thinking lowly of oneself but only seeing oneself as one actually is.
If we are going to tolerate this nonsense we deserve it. It's like Romans 13 says; you get the government you deserve and you will get this current one good and hard. The time to draw the line was day 16 of "flatten the curve". The fact that we were willing to send any kids (never mind 6 year olds) to school with face masks shows how very compliant we are.
I'm not going to argue with folks; it is a simple fact that breathing in your own CO2 is not good for health never mind any other acquiescence. We are a weak people.
Speaking of weak I had a conversation last night with a good friend in regards to a well known Catholic news figure who is having a very public crisis of faith. The gentleman in question is under a spiritual attack but I'm sorry to say it probably started with some chink in his armor. I've seen it a lot. some husband and dad gives in to porn, or birth control or whatever and he's exposed. I'm not saying that's what this guys issue is but I know from experience it's easier to take a nap everyday than it is to man up, and keep pushing. <br>
So, why am I ranting about the pansies of the world? And why do I feel it's so important to draw a line now and stick to it? Because I'm so certain that bad times are coming that I don't care about human respect and I don't care if I'm called a "chicken little". The fact is that we have given too much ground and we are not going to overcome what is coming if we don't plan now.
How do I propose this? We are going to have one book club meeting before Christmas and then another in January. Then in February you will join me for a pig slaughter. It will be dirty, and bloody and cold and tough. And you will learn a skill your grandmother knew. We have lost the old ways and we better learn them quick. You will either learn to go without meals and kill animals and feed your family; or both. So understand that A- you need to plan now and learn new skills and also B- if you don't draw a line soon you are gonna keep getting the tyranny you tolerate.
